SAIDU COMMUNITY SERVICE (SCS) is a Registered non-political, charity, non-profit making Community-Based Organization (CBO) in Romogi sub county, Yumbe District-Uganda founded by refugees for refugees
Our Mission
To Use the available recourses to work with the communities to keep health and end hunger, poverty and care for one another
The Problem
More than 143,482 Refugees in zone one of Bidibidi have become hopeless in life living under income poverty. A lot of them do not have the minimal income that would allow them to afford the basic needs i.e. food, shelter, clothing and even soap. Many are not certain about their lives as a result of the Food rations that have been cut to more than 1.4 million vulnerable refugees in Uganda due to insufficient funds. This is an area we aim to address.

- 1. We carry the people we serve specially the refugees in Bidibidi who are facing all kind of challenges at heart of all that we do
- 2. We have been helping vulnerable children, single mothers, handicap elderly people with humanitarian services in Bidibidi refugee settlement
- 3. We are ready to go wherever we are needed to go and provide services to the refugees and host community
